From the opening chorale notes of ‘Wait,’ we are transported to church for a funeral mass. The pain and loss of the death of a loved one is evident immediately and carries through the entire album. This is the most cohesive and mature album yet by Mr. Kitty. The entire album is wrought with grief and love and heartbreak and doubts and personal reflections of guilt and blame. This is one fantastic and deeply affecting work of art. I am very sorry for your loss.
